Mr. Abitbol’s practice spans the full spectrum of corporate law, with a strong emphasis on cross-border transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, joint ventures, foreign direct investments, and real estate financings. He also possesses extensive experience in drafting and negotiating international commercial contracts, including technology transfer agreements, licensing, manufacturing, distribution, and endorsement agreements.

With over four decades of legal experience, Mr. Abitbol brings a deep perspective to complex cross-border corporate matters. A graduate of the Faculté de Droit d’Assas in Paris, he earned both his law degree and a post-graduate degree in corporate law and taxation before beginning his legal career in France.

Mr. Abitbol enhanced his international expertise by earning an LL.M. in Corporate Law from New York University School of Law. He went on to practice with prestigious international law firms, including Willkie Farr & Gallagher in New York and Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy in Tokyo.

In 1992, he founded his own practice in Tokyo, and in 1995, re-established the firm in New York, where it continues to serve a global client base.
